Reagent for use only in the in vitro determination of Prothrombin Time (PT), Activated Partial

Thromboplastin time (APTT) and recalcification (plasma clotting) time, as well as in various coagulation factor assays (1,2,3).

Reagents Composition

Calcium Chloride 0.02 M

Liquid preparation of 0.02 mol/L

Calcium Chloride and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative.

Storage and Stability

Store at 2-8ºC.

The reagent is stable until expiry date printed on the label, when stored in original container.

Reagent deterioration: Presence of turbidity and coloration.
